Eh-hem! Sun just made its first mainframe in history, the M-series. IBM, that's a crooked deal if I ever saw one: a bigwig head honcho from IBM sales gets a job in my firm, and suddenly all critical services switch to mainframe! Now if that's a honest deal, then I'm a blue bearded gnome! Rest assured that we run mainframes out of pure politics, and for no other reason whatsoever. But a storm is brewing because that stuff is so freaking expensive, that one of these days the things will get kicked out ouf the shop! If I'm still there to see that day, I will be throwing a party!
