That's a shame. That means maintaining the same info in both places. Oh

So if I think I might change the MAC<->IP  association, and want the 
DHCP server to update the client when it tries to renew the lease then I 
should use non-permanent reserved addresses?

But if I am ok with needing to reboot to have the client look up the new 
address, then a permanent address will work?

Is that the only trade-off?
