The X.Org community is working on a driver based on the 2D-only
specifications ATI released - that driver builds and runs on Solaris,
but is still an early development model, not yet even up to beta quality.
ATI has not yet released 3D specifications, so this isn't the place to
go yet if you want 3D performance.
