Fact: Solaris code is open source, those portions of Solaris which are open
source make any such "backdoor" detectable.

Fact: if NSA wanted backdoors, those would have to be implemented by Sun
Microsystems in their not yet open sourced drivers; obviously, a graphics card
driver is not a likely candidate. A network driver might be. Crypto hardware on
the UltraSPARC T-series is open source, so that's not a likely candidate
either. Older, proprietary network drivers might be theoretical candidates, but
given that that is a limited set of hardware, it's not a good "backdoor"
solution, so those aren't likely candidates either.

Fact: Solaris is popular with NSA, as evident from their in-depth treatises on
configuring Solaris hosts with IPSec (and preshared keys). I have some of those
documents.
