Could you let us know exactly which GStreamer plugin is used to support
your MSN GSM files? Also, do you know which module includes this plugin?

Looking at this website:

   http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/plugins.html

It looks like the GSM plugin is in gst-plugins-bad, which we don't ship
since these plugins are not considered of high quality. Or perhaps it
has legal issues. Does it contain IP that would prevent it from being
distributed with Solaris?

Perhaps if people worked with the GStreamer team to get the plugin
promoted to gst-plugins-good, this would be the best way to get it
included in Solaris.

Otherwise you can build gst-plugins-bad from spec-files-extra, if you
like. Refer to the SFEgnome-media-extras.spec file.

I hope this info helps.
