Changes since SchilliX-0.6.1:
- Updated to use OpenSolaris Nevada Build 82
- Applied a patch t the hsfs filesystem module (see directory patches)
to work around a cpio hard link handling bug.
- SchilliX-0.6.2 now includes a SVr4 package database in an unpacked
version. It is possible to install Blastwave packages on SchilliX
"out of the box".
- SchilliX-0.6.2 now includes X11 in an unpacked version.
- New file /boot/grub/README.install explains hot to install SchilliX
directly from the ISO-9660 filsystem image.
- Blastwave pkg-get is included in /opt/csw/bin/
This allows to use pkg-get after installing SchilliX on a hard disk.
- The script "csw-base" installs 256 command line oriented base program
packets (~ 1 GB) from blastwave. This is done in the full-auto mode.
- The script "csw-gnome" installs GNOME and other X based program
packets (~ 1 GB) from blastwave. This is done in the full-auto mode.
WARNING: This release does (currently) not fit on a CD anymore.
You need to write the image SchilliX-0.6.2.iso to a DVD to be able to
boot it.
