Open Solaris Express Community Edition (snv_82 currently, but I've tried a range from b79 to b83) Intel 64-bit. TBH I've not seen the power-off succeed on a range of Intel platforms. Mine is 50% successful at the moment. I don't know how to debug the shutdown, the final state has nothing left operational, but CPU in a high-burn state with all disks still spinning. I would've expected disks to be spun-down before the final state.
