we have good experience with areca. Driver is not included with solaris but can 
be downloaded from areca.com.tw, driver is also on the HCL. Performance is very 
good and the card has nice features like building different raid types without 
separating disk into multiple sets. jbod with zfs doesn't work, solaris hangs 
when you remove a disk (sata).
