I do device drivers, and I like to have a recent version of OpenSolaris available for testing. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to learn all the quirks of the Solaris build process, yet I would like to be able to keep up with the latest OpenSolaris build easily.
I've been using BFU on top of a SXCE install for a while, but that has quirks (like hosing gcc's cache of the include files). I've also tried NexentaOS, but got the impression that they don't keep the kernel current. (It looks like they are only on b85 in their testing and unstable, where the latest is b88). So.. is there any distribution which regularly updates to the latest builds and can manage updating the kernels and associated dependencies for me, or should I just stick to my somewhat broken SXCE + BFU method? Thanks, Drew This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
