Is there any way to force the Nevada kernel to use an older driver that works
for SATA DVD installs?

I need to install Nevada on my T105, and this is a real roadblock.

I tried using a kernel command line option to disable DMA, but that's not the
issue, just all I could think of to get it out of ACPI mode.

Unfortunately, the T105 BIOS cannot switch to any kind of legacy IDE mode that
I can see.
