Have you filed bugs regarding the issues you encountered?  That's the  
first step in receiving the sort of support you're looking for...  
without that, Sun's own QA team may never run into them, so they may  
never get fixed.

Sun (or any other company) can't test every combination of hardware  
and software out there, so to some extent our users will always be  
part of the QA team, especially for the very first release-- that's  
part of the reason the OpenSolaris community exists.  Of course we try  
to catch and fix as many such issues as we can through our public  
preview releases, but it's an unfortunate inevitability that we won't  
catch them all.
