Hi guys!

Since everyone uses an O.S. to do something more than booting the system and
running office-like software, I really miss the following softwares after
installing OpenSolaris. They are not even available in the repository for
installation.

- WYSIWYG html editor. I know that typing HTML is more precise, blablabla.
Actually, I know HTML very well. Not only HTML, but JSP, Servlets, J2EE, ASP,
ASP.Net, and so on, so this is not intended to become a flame war against the
oddity of WYSIWYG editors... They are good for prototypes, that's all...

- Seamonkey. Yes, I know, Firefox is there, Thunderbird... evolution. But why
don't we have Seamonkey? Maybe we can even use the Seamonkey editor to provide
a alternative to the one above (WYSIWYG editor)...

- MySQL Workbench. Or, at least, a decent (visual) database designer in the
NetBeans compatible with MySQL. It's possible to use a solution like
Dia+TediaSQL?

- Where is Dia?

- Mono. Yes, Java is great. Yes, we do have C and C++. And thousands of other
languages. But Mono (and .Net) came to stay.

- Skype. No need to tell how much I'm missing skype...

Well, I think this is a good list to start with...

If you can point how (and where) to start, I'll appreciate that.

Regards,

Edson.
