Asutosh,

You need to provide more information.

Are you using Active Directory? DHCP? Auto-update? Zone delegation?
Multiple masters? Split horizons?

Are you trying to add DNS records for a Solaris machine (server or
workstation) to a Windows 2003 DNS server?

Are you trying to configure the Solaris machine to use the Windows
2003 DNS server for name resolution?

Are you trying to set up a DNS server (BIND) on Solaris and need to
add the Windows client information to it?

If you do not understand how DNS works, or if you are using Active
Directory in a mostly Windows shop, the Windows 2003 DNS server would
be a good solution for you since it has all the wizards and will
pretty much make everything "work" for you. It really is a fairly
simple process to add/delete/change records for clients in it.

However, if you are in a predominately non-Windows enivronment, or you
want to learn how DNS really works, or you actually need a secure
stable DNS server for the Internet, I'd strongly recommend using BIND
on a minimized/hardened Unix/Linux (Hint: Solaris) machine. Either
way, there are several really good books published by O'reilly on DNS,
BIND, Active Directory and Windows DNS that you should check out.
