Just for report, my Ati4850 works, albeit only in 1400x1050 mode right now. I 
havent experimented with xorg.config file yet. No drivers or nothing was 
installed, everything worked right out of the box. KMAYS, I will change the 
resolution, just as you suggested in the sub forum here "x windows"
