What application/way does actually report memory usage correctly? Looking at
Gnome's System Monitor, there's supposedly 6.4GB physical memory in use right
now. Checking it with mdb, ::memstat tells me something completely different:

Page Summary Pages MB %Tot
------------ ---------------- ---------------- ----
Kernel 457328 1786 22%
Anon 123626 482 6%
Exec and libs 36665 143 2%
Page cache 4544 17 0%
Free (cachelist) 24536 95 1%
Free (freelist) 1448018 5656 69%

Total 2094717 8182
Physical 2094716 8182

I suppose mdb is actually correct, but then why's System Monitor misreporting
it so grossly?

Thanks,
-mg
