Today on my snv_93, I ran "pkg image-update" which seemed to complete fine, but
at the end of the process it produced the error:

pkg: unable to activate opensolaris-3

I tried activating it by hand but got the same error:

bash-3.2$ env BE_PRINT_ERR=true pfexec /usr/sbin/beadm activate opensolaris-3
set_canmount: failed to promote dataset (rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-3)
be_activate: failed to set canmount dataset property
beadm: Unable to activate opensolaris-3

If I understand the source correctly, it looks like the "origin" attribute on
the filesystem is set and indeed, zfs get reports:

bash-3.2$ zfs get origin rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-3
NAME PROPERTY VALUE
           SOURCE
rpool/ROOT/opensolaris-3 origin rpool/ROOT/[EMAIL
PROTECTED]:-:2008-08-28-03:05:42 -

I'm at a loss about how to activate this. I seem to be able to boot this when
I select it manually from the grub menu so I don't understand what's wrong.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

     Ben.
