The graphical login runs by default. I think you could disable this service (look for svcadm). In my work I installed Solaris 10 recently to manage SpamAssassin + Clamav and the graphical login do no take power of CPU. By the way, the server is some meters away from my office, so I it do not botther me having to look all the time the login screen!!!
