Any chance the default Perl installation will be compiled with thread
support in the next release?
I am a gmail user and was working on porting checkgmail
http://checkgmail.sourceforge.net/ over to OpenSolaris, along with creating
a local repository with the 30 or so perl module pre-req, when I hit a
snag. No threading support......... I could true Blastwave or Sunfreeware,
but was hoping to publish the modules to the /contrib repos one
day.......... (after I am done testing the perl modules I have, I'll see
what I need to do to get them in the repos. I know there is a web page out
there that describes the process....)
OpenSolaris is suppose to be pushing the envelope for the Solaris OS
right?
