Thanks I´ve disabled everything but still Ctrl-spc is dead. There was a reboot in there for other reasons so whatever it was going to do should be applied now. I also see another anomally: I´m not sure exactly of how it happens. but sometimes hitting the opostrophy does the normal thing of adding and apostrophy... it appears straight up and down at those times. Then othertimes when I hit the apostrophy... nothing happens. At those times I have to hit it twice... in those cases the apostrophy appears with the top leaning forward. Similar to a short forward slash but in the apostropy postion. At those same times the double quote fails on the first try too, but on second press it inserts a smaller looking double quote than the normal one. Both of these appear when the same thing has happened at a cmd prompt. The same rigamarole 1st press dead 2nd press a different looking character that when this phenomena is not happening.\ Seems like i may have activated a different keyboard setting inadvetantly. _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
