I have a vodafone dongle which I would like to use on a laptop.opensolaris picks up the 3G network but the gateway default programe only runs on Windows.From Betavine you can download linux and mac but they have no plans to write a small gateway version for opensolaris.Most dongles are similar anyone would like to give this small project a go?

I am sorry to let you know that Vodafone dongle is not compatible with Opensolaris and in future we are not thinking of developing a compatibility with Opensolaris. However, our dongle is compatible with Linux and MAC on Betavine. I trust this information is helpful to you.
