I have an acer aspire one laptop running OpenSolaris 111 that I connect to the internet via ethernet at work. Is there anyway to re-request a DHCP lease via the network autoconf daemon?
For example, i have an ip of 0.0.0.0 without a cable plugged in, I plug an Ethernet cable and it remains at 0.0.0.0. I've tried switching between auto and wired networks without success.
