I think I'm getting the same problem described here http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6676465
Briefly, if ever a share mounted by "mount -F smbfs" drops connection on the remote end, then no future attempts at mounting shares will ever succeed, they all just hang. I'm using OpenSolaris 2008.05, and the bug doesn't show as fixed until snv_98. OS 2008.11 didn't like my hardware. Is there any service or anything I can restart to get the server back in a state where it can mount samba shares again without rebooting? I'll just add that to the scripts I'm running before I mount a remote share. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
