is it a LiveCD ?

Yes.

If yes the work/settings when run may saved on the hdd to retrieve in a new inserting of the LiveCD to my laptop (vista 32bit_2GB RAM) ?

No, nothing will be saved on the hard drive between sessions. If you want to save any settings, you will have to use the LiveCD to perform a full installation of OpenSolaris.

It is possible to do this without removing Windows Vista from your laptop, but it's not (yet) trivial: <http://blogs.sun.com/amaguire/entry/ opensolaris_windows_vista_dual_boot>

May do copies of this freeCD ?

Yes. You can make as many copies as you like, and give them to whoever you like. In fact, that's exactly what we want you to do :)

This free CD has and source code in ?

No, you will have to download the source code separately.

In what language written this OS ?

Mostly in C. Some parts (such as the package manager) are written in Python, and there are probably a couple of other languages in there as well.

Where I may get source code[what is labeled the download link?),

OpenSolaris is made up of many parts (called "consolidations"), so there is no single download link. You can find more information about each consolidation at <http://opensolaris.org/os/downloads/#build>.

You can also browse the source code online at <http://src.opensolaris.org >.

may modify it(for myself use) ?

Yes.

Calum.
