Hi Charlie,
Since I just picked up another netbook myself for OpenSolaris, I
just re-compiled alpine-2.00 for my EeePC 900. :-) Anyway, I saw your
post & thought I'd make it available for download. It was compiled on
my system running OpenSolaris 2009.06 snv 111a using the SFEalpine.spec
file. There's two changes I make to the original alpine-2.00 source
though. First, I upgrade the imap source to the latest which is
imap-2007e. I do this to address any bug fixes/security concerns.
Secondly, I also apply the "all.patch" from:

http://staff.washington.edu/chappa/alpine/

This also adds several bug fixes/features to the original program. I've
posted it to the OpenSolaris part of my web server. I've added a README
file noting the changes I've posted here as well. Hope you find it
useful. Here's the link:

http://kb7sqi.dyndns.org/opensolaris/packages/SFEalpine-2.00.tar.bz2

Take care.
