Hello, change authority to the dev branch. This should help. Although there is a 2nd problem: Selecting _all_ packages from the package-manager-GUI will fail, because about 50 packages lack the correct tags for which ISA they are intended for. I am talking about SPARC-only packages which have no x86 counterpart. They should not appear in the GUI but they do. This makes installing all available packages an endless mess of cycling through the "creatingInstallPlan" preparations, until the next insufficiently tagged SPARC-only package is found and the install breaks another time (this is fatal and you need to change the pkg-selection in the GUI and start from scratch, maybe it would be better to simply pop-up a warning and waiting for user-input, rather than fatally exiting). p.s. I'm referring to the situation 4 weeks ago, with 111 rather than 111a. Maybe those issues have already been resolved. -- %martin > > > Any hints on what the problem may be ? > > > Thanks, > > Jim > > -- > ///////////////////////////////////////////// > > Jim Langston > Sun Microsystems, Inc. > > (513) 702-4741 (Cell) > (877) 854-5583 (AccessLine) > AIM: jl9594 > [email protected] > > _______________________________________________ > opensolaris-discuss mailing list > [email protected] > _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
