Just FYI, we have git-1.6.3.1,REV=2009.05.20-SunOS5.8-{i386|Sparc}-CSW.pkg
as well as subversion-1.6.2,REV=2009.05.18-SunOS5.8-{i386|Sparc}-CSW.pkg
sitting in the testing areas of the build farm. These things don't get
released unless they get tested.
There are SunOS5.10 packages being looked at also. I can't think of why
anyone would want AMD64 binaries for some things but it can be nice to
provide them anyways. People seem to like the speed of AMD64 binaries like
this :
# pkginfo -l CSWgsed
PKGINST: CSWgsed
NAME: gsed - The GNU text Stream-oriented EDitor (sed)
CATEGORY: application

VERSION: 4.2,REV=2009.05.18

VENDOR: http://directory.fsf.org/project/sed packaged for CSW by Ken
Mays

# file /opt/csw/bin/amd64/gsed
/opt/csw/bin/amd64/gsed: ELF 64-bit LSB executable AMD64 Version 1 [SSE2
SSE FXSR FPU], dynamically linked, not stripped
# ldd /opt/csw/bin/amd64/gsed
libsec.so.1 => /lib/64/libsec.so.1
libiconv.so.2 => /opt/csw/lib/amd64/libiconv.so.2
libncurses.so.5 => /opt/csw/lib/amd64/libncurses.so.5
libintl.so.8 => /opt/csw/lib/amd64/libintl.so.8
libc.so.1 => /lib/64/libc.so.1
libavl.so.1 => /lib/64/libavl.so.1
libm.so.2 => /lib/64/libm.so.2
Also, you would be amazed how many low level libs need to be looked into
for things like this.
Dennis
ps: all those binaries in the libs are being build with full debugging
options enabled so that you can single step through anything you build, if
necessary.
# file /opt/csw/lib/amd64/libintl.so.8
/opt/csw/lib/amd64/libintl.so.8: ELF 64-bit LSB dynamic lib AMD64 Version
1, dynamically linked, not stripped
