Yes, I hit <esc> and now I see on the VBox guest console: Method "/lib/svc/method/fcoeconfig" failed with exit status 127 and svc transitions it into maintenance. Next I see: Requesting System Maintenance Mode Console login services cannot run Enter user name for system maintenance: =============================================================== I believe this is due to: 6856975 Remove of fcoeconfig in Nevada 118 makes boot fail after upgrade The workaround is: 1. Hit <Esc> key when the bootsplash appears. 2. Enter the login name/password when the system maintenance login prompt appears. 3. Run: svccfg delete network/fcoe_config 4. Run: reboot -- Will Fiveash Sun Microsystems Inc. http://opensolaris.org/os/project/kerberos/ Sent from mutt, a sweet ASCII MUA _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
