I am not sure I follow you.
You said the update of your *BIOS* between the two experiments. Now
you're saying some changes between snv_117 and snv_118 are responsible
for the improvement. OpenSolaris 2009.06, which is the version you first
ran the test, is snv_111b2. Would you mind posting the results of each
version of OpenSolaris you ran the tests and at which point you updated
the BIOS? That could be very helpful.
