Yes, from the cli (I've not used the GUI myself). You can prepend pfexec
to both those commands for the proper role execution.
As far as kdevelop not sure .. is that a KDE pkg (if so there is a KDE
community on opensolaris.org you may want to check). There is Netbeans
IDE of course ;D
