Yes, the Device driver utility shows the disk controller driver missing.
Here is the exact info:
Storage->Broadcom OSB4 IDE Controller->pc-ide
->Adaptec AIC 7892P U160/m->Missing(driver-unavailable).
Is there any way to install the driver or are there any workarounds for
this?
