How might I fix this compilation error: When I tried to a simple app with sun studio 12.1 on snv_121 I get: ld: fatal: file /opt/sunstudio12.1/prod/lib/crti.o: section [9].rela.annotate has invalid type [ SHT_RELA ] *** Error code 1
On an snv_116 the code compiles fine (and runs ) also on Sun studio 12.1 I found a description of the issue at: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5394825 and I went to have a look at: http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/downloads/patches/ss12u1_patches.jsp But the patches there all seem to be related to Sol10. Could some code fix have been dropped between snv 116 and snv 121? Any ideas as to how I should proceed?
