Thanks Ian,

I have tried 10U5, 10U7, and 09U6.

The version number are a bit confusing to me, but in any case the one I had
better success with was the 10U5 version; which got as far as identifying
drives and partitioning, but in the next step it would suddenly reboot, and all
othe rversion mentioned above just simply reboot after making the selection in
the grub screen.

I guess your right with Dell changing the components since recall that even
some of the Ram expansion cards do not work between the same T7400 systems.

I just wish there was a way to bypass the selection that is not working instead
of killing the entire install process. In this way we can address the driver
issue separately. I have also tried the latest version with regular solaris x86
for the versions mentioned that get the same results. Although, for the regular
version I get two components that do not work. The audio and the Broadcom
network driver.

I hope the next release will have support for my components as least. I am
hopful becuase the device detection tool advised that my confiruation has
already been submitted or maybe I did not recall sending it some time ago. At a
minimum, the solaris install needs to be a bit more flexible with allowing you
to add drivers for components such as network or audio; which do not stop the
system from working and can be address in the post install period.

Thanks again!
