When I first started using opensolaris about a yr ago... some kind soul here told me how to set things up so that emacs works like it does on linux.
Not having to use Esc-x instead of M-x for example.. and so that backspc does delete to the left... I don't recall if there was more but I've lost my notes about this... and my old .emacs file that contained it. I wonder if someone can coach me a bit before I commit suicide, or take an axe to RMS.
