Ok, enough! You have been flooding the list asking questions without reading and learning first the unix way. You say that you are new to unix but that you already know and understand the power of unix tools. But your behaviour says the contrary. Please, stop asking and saying how OpenSolaris must be, first learn and get used to the unix way (OpenSolaris in this case) when you feel comfortable and with the knowledge needed to customize the Operating System to suit your taste, go ahead and build your own distribution. Surely there would be more people who will be glad to test and use it. If you just want to use the system as it is packaged by someone else, then there are plenty of choices free and propietary, make your choice and go ahead. OpenSolaris is very good as it is right now and fullfills most of my needs out of the box, then in a few days I customized only what I need/want(ed) to change, now I'm very happy and productive with my system and I'm grateful with the OpenSolaris community and developers, and Sun too of course. Saludos Ernesto Celis
