Probably sound advice.. I did notice that the newest stuff turning up in those searches is 2007, most is older. A question about something I see here using the little driver tool that is on the desktop in a new install or at Applications/system tools/device driver utility The tool shows the 1394 hub, but `hci1394' as driver pkg search on both av1394 and hci1394 shows them in different packages.
