Still no detection of disk(s) connected on the sil I have installed snv_127, and still no detection of the HD(s) connected to the SIL4723 ports on my P5W-DH Deluxe (EZBackup raid controller) if the SATA is in AHCI mode. It used to work until snv_121, so this is a bit desappointing. AFAIK (I didn't recently test it with snv_127) the drives appear if the SATA controller is in IDE SATA compatibility mode. Wouldn't it be nice to solve this before osol 201003 ? Bruno

I still do not see my ezbackup mirror Furthermore, I had some difficulties booting with snv123 : The first boot failed to bring X up, and did not either fall back to console login, so I was stuck. I had to boot in failsafe mode (what will happen if we loose it ?), mount my old non-root pool and copy an old xorg.conf into /etc/X11/. After reboot it failed as well but let me login in console mode so I could correct my xorg.conf and get it to work. The rest was no problem, but as I said, I'm still missing one mirror... Waiting for snv124 or someone to come up with a suggestion... BTW there are also positive upsides, I saw for the first time my wireless network adapter appear (urtw) ! Thank you for your good work Bruno Bruno Damour wrote: > Hello, > With my asus p5w dh deluxe, I used to have : > - 1 250G system disk with a solaris slice containing my zfs root > - 2 1Tb disks in a zpool mirror > - 2 320G disks using the ezbackup in raid1 mode, showing like 1 stat disk > - 1 500G disk using the jmicron controller > > all sata II using ahci > It worked allright in snv121 but in snv122 i lost the 2 320G disks.
