I've wondered about this one also. As long as you are behind the dhcp service
which has its own firewall and what I have tied behind a static IP the network
icon links any windows shares no problem. I'd have to guess any ciber cafe
assigning the dhcp service would immediately have the same common share links
but to tie the machines across the wide area network would probably require
porting the dhcp service itself somehow ??
