Hi.
at work i've got Opensolaris on my workstation. I use dev repository,
actually i'm stuck at 128.
The mainboard is an ATOM miniITX with one memory slot.. There was 1giga
of DDR2 and performance were terrible.
Using Firefox, Thunderbird and Pidgin togheter resulted in very awful
performance.
Another machine, with the same hardware performs really ok with debian
lenny.
Now, I've changed the memory stick with a 2Gb module. And everything
changed.. The machine is working ok, it could be better but now i can
work as I need.
The question is: it's my fault? It's a bug trouble? IT's normal?
Is it possible I need not less than 2Gb to use my Opensolaris desktop
system?
