Then I suggest it's time to dump that tradition if OS wants to remain
relevant as more than a hobbyist/developer curiosity and not loose
traction as production grade platform.  As I stated previously, regular
releases are MUCH appreciated by managers for planning purposes, etc.
For example I know former HP-UX shop who moved the big iron to OBSD
because of 1) rock solid stable/security, and 2) clockwork releases.
There's a reason they didn't choose Linux (or FreeBSD for that matter).
I realize that there has been a substantial degree of linuxization of OS
but not everything Linux represents the holy grail nor worthy of
emulation.
