Using snv_131, I have a bunch of windows boxes I'm trying to connect to using samba (doing backups). Among the 30 or so computers, I can connect to about half of them, while the other half result in an error while connecting, i.e -
mount -F smbfs //username:passw...@computername/share /netmnt/computername/share mount: nbns error 128 sending broadcast mount: nbns error 128 sending broadcast mount: nbns error 128 sending broadcast mount: nbns error 128 sending broadcast mount: nbns error 128 sending broadcast mount: can't get server address, node name or service name not known After which, running the mount command to another computer often works just fine. It appears to usually be the same computers which exhibit the problem, but I can't find anything in common between them. I have some that work and some that don't that are Windows 2000, XP, Linux samba servers, etc. My existing Linux backup server connects to these machines just fine. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
