What really irks me is that Oracle might very-well be in bed with IBM/RedHat (RHEL) and their crappy GPL'd crufty "ATM" RedHat kernel ? Do I really need that? -NO, but IBM and Banks do. so, whooopee -and thanks for the security. (be careful now) So who is really pulling the strings here ? ya whatever, corporate back room BS. Anyway, while Oracle/Sun is still fighting to achieve Sever superiority of their database,..., against SAP,..., just remeber, O"RACK"le, there are literally "BILLIONS" of Desktop users out there too, waiting for the ultimate PC-Desktop Unix-friendly NetOS out there. (besides' just Ubuntu or WinBlows) When people buy a new "car" -you don't charge them for their transmission optionally ? Instead, charge them for "QUALITY" support if they need it, and you will find you have adopted a VERY large family. (its all gotta work together though, duh.)
