The code checked out from SVN works fine on Solaris Express 129 running as a zone but you have to install the ZAP drivers in global and allow access to them in the zone definition.
Given OpenSolaris' different outlook on packaging I'm not confident that the SVN based code will create usable modules for OpenSolaris. No work has been done in quite a while so I'm thinking that Asterisk on Solaris is pretty much dead which is too bad. Personally I think like you do that a properly tuned to (Open)Solaris Asterisk code would bury the Linux version(s) in performance. I've compiled straight 1.6 code on x86 Solaris minus ZAP but I need ZAP...
