There are two problems now ... I bet I was a bit confusing, sorry. 1. The kernel freezes for a few hundred ms in b134 (does not happen in b133).
Number of running kernel threads jumps up suddenly - see the vmstat output. No clue why. 2. Firefox dies/freezes and cannot be killed (kill -9 has no effect) - this happens on both b133 and b134. This also prevents (clean) reboot, must force poweroff (by hw). At the moment I think this might be due to swap on zfs on (external) sd. But I do not have enough evidence yet. Maybe compression=on is not a good idea for swap (it does have a bad feeling)? I wonder why I left it on ... -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
