Also, look at running Xvnc on the Solaris box, which will enable you to
to run a VNC client on the Windows side and connect to a (virtual) X
server on the Solaris box.
Alternately, Cygwin ( http://www.cygwin.org ) has an X server for
windows available, amids all the other UNIX tools.
