Hi All.

I tried to start installation of OpenSolaris from usb-flash via GRUB2.

GRUB2 can mount ISO via loopback and use it contents.

my steps:

1. load kernel from loopback mounted ISO
2. load miniroot (boot_archive) from loopback mounted ISO
3. mount usb-flash
4. mount ISO from mounted usb-flash
4. mount lofi-compressed solaris.zlib from mounted ISO
4. start installation

steps 1 and 2 execute on GRUB2 layer. After it i have running OS with
minimal components, which available in boot_archive.

Next i need to mount usb-flash with FAT partition. OK.

>: #mount -F pcfs /dev/dsk/c4t0d0p1 /my_mountpoint
 /dev/dsk/c4t0d0p1 is non DOS filesystem

The same usb-flash mounted without error via same cmd.

Why?

Thanks.
