In April I sent some feelers out: asking about commercial software support on
OpenSolaris:

Although few people commented in the thread, I did receive enough direct email
to convince the team to test our monitoring Agents on OpenSolaris*. Few changes
were required to get them working: if you're interested in monitoring and
performance graphs on OpenSolaris some screenshots and the beta URL can be

We're looking to make a similar early release for our Server tier as well:
which would unlock aggregate/automated performance graphs, talking to other
tools like Tivoli and Nagios etc. Fun stuff :)
Thanks to all who have helped so far! This is the first step to get OpenSolaris
support baked into all our new releases! (crosses fingers)
