The strange thing is that Garrett D'Amore doesn't even seem to work at Oracle any more. He joined Nexenta sometime earlier this year.
"June 10, 2010 — Nexenta Systems, the leader in Open Storage solutions, today announced that Garrett D’Amore, a former Sun engineer and the leading contributor to the OpenSolaris operating system for the past five years, and Richard Elling, a notable ZFS expert, have joined Nexenta to help drive innovation and development of the NexentaStor software platform." http://www.nexenta.com/corp/newsflashes/86-2010/697-continued-support-opensolaris I'm guessing not working for Oracle enabled him to publish that blog post, but isn't actually able to say what they are working on due to fear of being sued. I guess we just have to see what happens in August. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
