If I understand their documentation correctly, they also maintain their own package repositories and security patches. Their pricing model is also more flat rate as opposed to the metered rate you'll find from some other cloud providers. That said, Oracle has provided hardened OpenSolaris Amazon Machine Images for Amazon's EC2 service.
