Hello. I am brand new to OpenSolaris, but i have used several linux distros over the last couple of years. I am very interested in OpenSolaris and OpenIndiana, but my wifi card doesn't seem to be supported. I've used the device detection tool, i've visited the manufacturer website, and researched as much as i could, but the same answer keeps coming up: no support. I have a Thinkpad Edge 14 using an Intel Wifi Link 1000 card (officially name i believe is Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000). Linux supports it with the iwl (iwlwifi) or iwlagn driver, OpenBSD supports it with the iwn driver, but i haven't found a Solaris driver. Is there one available?
