I looked at the changes in b118 and the one change that stands out: 6769365 USB should power down during suspend A WAG is while it isn't a suspend, the code executed in DDI_DETACH now powers down the device. The "interface" sub-device may get detached which may have an undesired side effect on the mouse and input sub-devices.
